Another Police Dog Dies Due To Officer Neglect
A few weeks ago, we brought you this story from New Castle, PA, in which a police dog died after an officer left it locked in a hot car. Now there is a similar case being reported in Texas, in which yet another police dog died horribly after its “partner” left it unattended in a sweltering vehicle.
“Sometimes Texas courts have ruled a dog’s death in a hot car as cruelty, depending on circumstances, including time of year. Dallas had its own tragedy in 2004 when a German Shepherd, Queno, was left in a police car. It has since introduced an alarm system alerting drivers of a hot car, including paging them.”
